Daniel Aubrey Garst, 87, Rt. 5 Jonesborough, died Tuesday, Aug 1, 1989, in Johnson City Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness.
He was a native of Washington County and a son of the late John A. and Mattie Keefauver Garst.
Mr. Garst was a retired electrical supervisor with Bays Mountain Construction.
He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren.
Mr. Garst was preceded in death by a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys Carson Garst, Jonesborough; two sons, Ronald D. Garst, Jonesborough and Bobby D. Garst, Fall Branch; one daughter, Mrs. Susie Keys, Kingsport; two brothers, C. C. Garst and Fred S. Garst, both of Jonesborough; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
