Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 13, 2004 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Oklee with Father John Kleinwachter, presiding. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, rural Oklee.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home, Oklee, MN and Friday one hour prior to the service at the Church.
Francis Evelyn was born August 14, 1913 to Henry and Elizabeth Brennan. She grew up in Plummer, MN and attended school in Plummer, MN. She was united in marriage to Leo Bernard Klasen on November 27, 1934 in Plummer, MN. They made their home in Oklee, MN. Francis worked as a homemaker on their farm and also at the Municipal Liquor Store in Oklee. She moved to Shakopee in 1993 to be closer to her children.
Francis enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was active in the St. Frances Xavier Church with her circle.
Survivors include, two daughters Mary (Gary) Baggenstoss, Blaine, MN and Martha (Donald) Koepke, Shakopee, MN; 12 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Leo Bernard Klasen, parents Henry and Elizabeth Brennan and several aunts and uncles.
