1810 - 1894
Father: Mons/Mans
Mother: Elna
Spouse: Ole Nilsson Ahlstrom
DEATH NOTICE
Ingborg [Ingeborg] * Ahlstrom, an old lady 84 years of age, died on Tuesday evening. She was a native of Denmark and the mother of Peter Ahlstrom, one of our well known citizens who labors in the Temple. She was born May 10th, 1810, died April 10th, 1894. She received the Gospel in Malma [Malmö], Sweden, in 1853, emigrated to America in 1855, in company with Prest. Canute Peterson. She has been a faithful Latter-day Saint to the time of her death. The remains were interred in the city cemetery.

*DISCREPANCIES: With spelling of first and maiden names - entirely too many variables in records and public family trees! First name variables: Ingborg, Ingaborg, Ingerborg, Ingebarg, Ingre. Maiden name variables: Månsdotter, Monsdotter, Monsson, Bunderson, Bondesson, Bundersson, Bundiser, Bonderson, Bonasson, Bonneson (what the B on her headstone was intended to stand for). This memorial is the original created for her and due to all the variables of her names, there were two more created and have been deleted by Find A Grave. Ingeborg is owed a deep apology for how her names have been assumed, argued, demanded, threatened and fought about in mortality. Absolutely ridiculous!
HER MAIDEN NAME HAS BEEN CAUSING CONTENTION FOR YEARS AMONG HER POSTERITY. FOR THIS REASON, NO MAIDEN NAME WILL BE IN THE TITLE OF THIS MEMORIAL. In Sweden, it was most likely Monsdotter or Månsdotter, but all edit requests will now be declined regarding her maiden name or any initial.
