OBIT:
A life-long Oregon pioneer, Mrs. Frances Josephine Banister, died here yesterday at the age of 82. A native of Canyonville, Mrs. Banister spent much of her girlhood there, and later went with her parents to Leland, Oregon, where they homesteaded.

She came to Klamath Falls in 1929, and had resided here since. During her lifetime, she spent only three years out the state during a stay in Illinois.

Survivors include two daughters of Klamath Falls, Mrs. Jeanette Warder, and Ray Jones, Pelican City; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Ward's funeral home is i charge of funeral arrangements the time and place of which will be announced later.
