James Hubert Hilley, 49 years old, died Wednesday morning at his home in the Petersburg District. He was apparantly in good health a few minutes before his death.
Mr Hilley is survived by his wife and four children; James Walton, Erma Jean, Kenneth Herman and Gordon Lemuel all of Elbert County. Also surviving are four sisters; Mrs C S (Leila) Dixon of Easley, SC, Mrs T L (Bessie) Fleming of Milan, GA, Mrs Belton (Sallie) Gillespie of Anderson, SC and Mrs J W (Belle) Hall of Greenwood SC. Four brothers; W Bedford, Carey C, H Cooper Hilley all of Elbert County and Waymon A Hilley of Anderson, SC.
Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Methodist Church with Rev. J S Strickland and burial was in the church cemetery.
