ACTIVE JEHOVAH WITNESS DIES IN HOSPITAL

Vito A. Musto, 61, of 1412 Washington Ave., well known over the city for his work of distributing publications for the Jehovah Witness organization, died at 1:35 p.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted Nov. 20, after a brief illness.

He was born in Ripicandida, Italy, on March 1, 1884, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Donato Musto and was twice married, first to Filomena Petta, who died in 1939, then to Elsie Cartwright.

Surviving are his wife, three children, John and James in California and Mrs. Anna Villano of the city, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight step-children.

He was a member of the Jevovah Witness Church and a retired boilermaker of the Altoona Works.

Musto - Services for Vito A. Musto of 1412 Washington Avel, will be held in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday by Frank McCaulley, residing minister of the Jehovah Witnesses. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
