Mrs. Jeff Forbes
Mrs. Jefferson Forbis, 87, of the Boone County Rest Home, died there at 6:00pm, Tuesday, after an illness of several years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverand Charles A. Parker of Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetary.
Nephews of Mrs. Forbes will serve as pallbearers.
The body will be at the funeral home until time for burial.
Mrs. Forbes, the former Miss Ada O'Neal, was born in 1881, in Boone County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O'Neal. She was married in 1096 and her husband died in 1952.
Survivors include one son, James H. Forbis of Rt. 7, two grandchildren, James H. Forbis of Kansas City and Mrs. Jerry Bruockner of Sedalia, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and sisters preceeded her in death.
