Funeral service for Donna Faye Allen was January 12, 2009 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Bro. Rick Pitchford officiating.

Special CDs were played.

Interment was in the New Harmony Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Crocker, Jason Rhea, Nathaniel Sturdivant, James Hyman, William T. Perkins and Billy Nash. Honorary pallbearer was Scott Radford.

Mrs. Allen was born July 3, 1938 in Gainsville. She married Ralph Allen April 15, 1953. They were the parents of eight children. Mrs. Allen died January 8, 2009 in St. Louis at the age of 70 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Allen, Salem; her mother, Osa Allen, Salem; eight children, Pam Emory and husband, Jack, Salem; Ralph Allen Jr. and wife, Diane, Vichy; Terri Lynn Bower and husband, David, Humble, Texas; Ronald Allen, Salem; Donald Allen and wife, Marilyn, Festus; Marcia Sturdivant and husband, Carl, Salem; Donna Rhea and husband, Terry, Jackson; and James Allen, North Carolina state; one brother, James Hollingshad and wife, Olivia, Alaska state; two step brothers, Edward Allen and wife, Susan, Kansas state; and Rodney Allen and wife, Patsy, Colorado state; two sisters, Judy Perkins and husband, Gene, Salem; and Jackie Jennings and husband, Wayne, Heavener, Okla.; two step sisters, Carolyn Gresham and husband, Bill, Salem; and Diana Wyble and husband, Ron, Salem; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her father, Claude Loftis; one brother, Jerry Hollingshad; one sister, Dormalee Pry; granddaughter, Joni Allen; nephew, Robert Allen Jennings.
