Sarah Mildred Forbis was born to James William Forbis Jr. and Joyce Fears Hutchens(on) Forbis (of Boone County, MO). She married Joseph Anderson McKenzie on March 30, 1882, in Boone County, Missouri. Together their children were: John Henry, Dora, twins Ethel & Effie, and Willard. (Note: There is some confusion as to who all their children are. The ones that I have that I'm uncertain of are: William Watson, Marvin, Myrtle, and Benjamine.) According to her death certificate, Sarah passed away at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 2 days old due to coronary thrombosis. Willard W. McKenzie is listed as the informant of her death.
