Sarah Elizabeth was the daughter of William & Mary Jane (Briggs) Burton. She married John Ellis Capehart on Jan. 27, 1897 at the home of her parents in Hickory Co., MO. They eventually migrated to Colorado. She died of Typhoid Fever 4 days after her youngest son, Ray, was born. Her husband, John, died 7 days later and they are both buried in unmarked graves. They were the parents fo 4 children, William Arval; Mabel Prochnow; Retta Lorene Fleak & Ray Ellis.
