Jeremy Abshire, 31, died Saturday, October 23, at 10:50 p.m. in Cameron. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 26, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Gueydan, with burial in the Gueydan Cemetery.
A native of Gueydan, Mr. Abshire was a resident of Holly Beach at the time of his death. He was a commercial fisherman.
Survivors include his mother, Rosa Abshire of Holly Beach; and his father, Leo Abshire, Sr. of Gueydan, and also one daughter, three brothers, and four sisters.
