Jack was a Mason and member of Izlar Lodge. He was a former member of American Legion Post #12. He fought w/the Fifth Army in Italy in World War II and was a member of a volunteer group that entered the troops during rest breaks just behind the front lines. He wore the combat infantryman's badge and the European Theatre ribbon with Battle Star. He was a member of St. Paul UMC and a former choir member. He was a retired residential contractor.
