Rhoda was born February 13, 1934 in Hale County, Texas, the fourth child of Henry and Jewell Lindeman. She had two sisters, Sally and Alvena, and two brothers, Homer and Fred.

She graduated from Kress High School, Kress, Texas and attended Business School in Plainview, Texas.

Rhoda moved to Lakewood, Colorado in 1964 where she worked for Gates Rubber Co. in the accounting department until she retired in 1996.

She was an avid golfer and helped organize the Guys and Dolls Golf Club at Gates and continued to join her friends in a weekly game until her death.

She loved quilting and met weekly with the "Quilt Ladies". She also worked with the Needlework ladies making lap robes for local nursing homes and the Linus Project, making quilts for children with cancer.

She was very active in the Lakewood Christian Church.
