Opal Tidwell, 91, of Picacho, died Aug. 31, 2000 in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Valley Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Eloy Memorial Park, with the Rev. Harvey Williamson officiating.
Mrs. Tidwell was born July 12, 1909 in Matador, Texas. She was a homemaker and had lived in the area for 42 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Verna McKay, of Chandler, and Dolores Ward, of Mesa; four sons, Vernon, of Sweet Home, OR, George, of Picacho, Bill Allen, of Reed, TX, and James, of Picacho; two sisters, Julia Sneed and Jewel Sweeney; two brothers, Guy and Sonny Folley; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James V., and a daughter, Colleen McKay.
