Grave in Riverside Cemetery, Kennedy, town of Poland. One of his ancestors, James Hamlin, came from London, England, in 1639, & settled in Massachusetts. Cyrenus served 7 years in American army. He moved from Charlton, Saratoga County, NY, to Chautauqua County in 1833. He had seven children, Perez, Mercy, Laura, Clarissa, Elizabeth, Seth, Milo. It is of record that the last years of his life were spent at the home of his daughter Elizabeth Merritt, in the town of Poland & that he was afflicted with blindness
