Sudden Heart Attack is Fatal;
Funeral Set for Wednesday

George L. Ashley, 38, pioneer of Okmulgee County,
who until three years ago lived on the widely-
known Ashley ranch north of Morris, died Sunday
evening at the home of a sister, Mrs, Mel Ballard,
728 N. Okmulgee Ave.
Mr. Ashley died of a sudden heart attack.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Wed. at the Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. A.L.
Cole of the First Christian church officiating.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Morris.
Mr. Ashley is survived by four sisters, who are
Mrs. Ballard, Mrs. Amanda McKinnon, Mrs. Hetty Brian and Mrs. Emma Jordan; two brothers, who are James T. Ashley
and Daniel S. Ashley and two nephews, who are Lhatt and
Robert Ashley.
