Mrs. Lucy Cecil Gillett, 67, widow of Frank B. Gillett, died early this morning following a brief illness.
Mrs. Gillett lived in Parrish most of her life and was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Fay Keen, Parrish; Mrs. S. M. Butler and Mrs. M. H. Gill, Bradenton, and Mrs. F. C. McCall, Bradley Junction; three sons, John Wesley Gillett, Palmetto; Frank Burton Gillett, Parrish, and Howell Gillett, Sarasota; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one brother, O. P. Cecil, Mrs. Floy G. Langford and Mrs. J.R. Blocker, Tampa, and Mrs. Lenna Parrish, of Parrish.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Parrish Methodist church. The Rev. E. J. Pendergrass, of Tampa, will officiate.
Burial will be in Parrish cemetery.
Pallbearers will be the following nephews of Mrs. Gillett; K. C. Parrish, Phil C. Langford, Ernest Cecil, T. N. Youngblood, Clyde Lingo and Alden Gillett.
