WILFORD MOORE went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 13, 2009, after a short bout with cancer. He was born Nov. 15, 1930 in Porum, OK to Garland and Nola Moore. He is survived by his son, Steve daughter-in-law, Brenda two grandchildren, Tyler (18) and Alexis (13) brother, Kenith Moore of Wichita, KS sister, Delma Webb of Bristow, OK and several nieces and nephews.

Wilford retired from the Safeway/Homeland Grocery Warehouse in 1993 after 27 years of service. He served in the US Army as a Corporal during the Korean War where he received four medals. He had the honor of running the first church bus route in the Oklahoma City area. Wilford touched many lives for God and was a blessing to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed until we are reunited with him in Heaven.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2009, at Maranatha Baptist Church, 2800 N. Divis, Bethany, OK. Interment will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
