ELLSWORTH, Maine — Theresa C. (Larro) Andrews, 77, of Ellsworth, Maine, and formerly of Malone, N.Y, passed away Jan. 4, 2009, at Colliers Rehab and Nursing Center in Ellsworth, Maine.
She was born Oct. 25, 1931, in Chateaugay, N.Y., the daughter of the late Raymond and Loretta (Caron) Larro.
Theresa attended school in Malone, N.Y. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy High School in 1950. She then attended nursing school in Plattsburgh, N.Y., for three years. Theresa worked as an R.N. in a number of states for many years.Her final position was at the William Mansion Nursing Home where she served as assistant director of nursing and was in charge of in-service education and infection control. She retired in May 1990.
She married Richard J. Andrews in 1962. Richard passed away in 1993.
Theresa is survived by her sons, Justin Boyd Khristiansen and wife, Courtney of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Michael Andrews and wife, Melissa of Sullivan, Maine; grandchildren, Robert Andrews of Maine, Samantha Andrews of Colorado, Elizabeth Khristiansen and Hallie Khristiansen, both of Plattsburgh.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Geraldine Bissonette and Francis Larro.
Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Chateaugay in the spring
