Margaret and David lived on the farm next to William and Margaret (STINSON) HANNA. Exerpts from an obituary in the Exeter Times Advocate dated April 19, 1888: "Mrs. David Kirk died very suddenly and was buried on the same Sunday as Mr. Stinson. On Tuesday, last, she was visiting her sick brother-in-law, Mr. Stinson, and it was little expected that she, too, would leave this mortal call within two hours of her relative's death. She was suddenly taken ill at the place above mentioned and she left for her home a few rods distance, when she took to her bed, from which she rose not again, till carried to her last resting place. She has resided in this vicinity for upwards of thirty years, coming from County Leeds. She was born November 20th, 1819, in the South of Ireland and died on April 13th, 1888. She left behind to mourn her loss, a sorrowing husband and a family of eleven children."
