Aaron S Keefer, 86, of 9955 Fort Loudon Rd, Mercersburg, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 14, in his home. He was born Jan. 17, 1900, near Mercersburg, a son of the late John H and Annie (Witter) Keefer. He was a farmer and carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Missouri (Hornbaker) Keefer; three sons; Paul S Keefer, Fannettsburg; Roy J Keefer, Mercersburg; and Glenn F Keefer, Clear Spring, Md; one sister, Minnie Hornbaker, Mercersburg; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 2 pm in the Lininger Funeral Home, Mercersburg, with the Rev Russel S Martin and the Rev Sterling Keeney officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.
