Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Lou Brown McNeer, 83, of West were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Durant. Rev. Jessie Scott officiated with interment in Bethesda Cemetery near Lexington.
Mrs. McNeer, a native of Holmes County, died Wednesday, February 10 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
The widow of the late William Roy McNeer, she had been a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Albert Hocutt, Mrs. Harvey Edwards and Mrs. Raymond Weeks, all of West, and Mrs. Elaine Moss of Durant; 18 grandchildren: and 25 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Earl Peden, Bill Cade, Allen Gottshall, Ronnie Weeks, Johnnie Weeks and Walter McNeer.
