Myrtle Lee Lynes Nichols, 85, passed from this life to be with the Lord on May 27, 2015.
Born to Lem and Lizzie Lynes on January 18, 1930, she grew up on their family farm at Hickox GA. Her brothers and sisters are Fulton, Jessie, Elma, Eunice, Vera, Lois, Ola, Veda and Leona.
She loved the Lord and is a long time member of Satilla Missionary Baptist Church at Hortense GA where she enjoyed teaching Training Union and Sunday School and always the singing.
Her Family was her life, and her joy came from the children and cooking for them. Her grand and great-grand children brought her much happiness in her latter years.
She is preceded by husband Buck Nichols, daughter Charlotte Flowers and grandson Ryan Flowers and many other family members.
She is survived by her sister Lois Hutcheson and her nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart and she spoke of often.
Her children are James (Edward) & Barbara Nichols, Rudy (Parkie) & Wanis Nichols, David & Diane Nichols, Donnie & Laura Nichols, Frankie & Rhonda Nichols, and Sandra & Anthony Lee.
Her grandchildren are Sheldon & Jamie Nichols, Patrick & Karen Nichols, Chris & Casey Nichols, Ian Nichols, Jacob Graffrath, Paul Lee, Jason & Emmie Lee, April & Alan Morgan, Christy Beepath, Sydne Nichols, Eric & Erin Floyd, Patrick & Crystal Floyd, Kimberly Nichols, Lauren Nichols, and Ashley & Curtis Boyd, Jake & Melissa Nasworthy, Casey & Warren Turner, Jamie Nasworthy.
Her great grandchildren are Aaron Nichols, Hannah Nichols, McKenzie Nichols, Jonathan Nichols, Bailey Nichols, Kalyn Nichols, Caleb Lee, Gabriel Lee, Zachary Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan, Kylie Beepath, Kameron Beepath, Parker Floyd, Kade Floyd, Wyatt Floyd, Kyler Nichols, Kaylee Nichols, Jaden Nasworthy, Jacob Nasworthy, Maddy Nasworthy, Taylor Pafford, Timothy Pafford, Cammie Pafford, Logan Dickerson, Mackayla Dickerson.
She will be carried to rest by her grandsons.
