DEATH NOTICE: The Manti Messenger, Saturday 31 July 1897:
Matilda, wife of Pres. J. D. T. McAllister died on Thursday evening. She had been severly ill for several months. Her home has been at Salt Lake City until recently, but came to Manti in hopes of a possible recovery. Funeral services will be held tomorrow.
