"Clayton R. Allen, 73, died late Saturday evening, November 14, 1992, in a Salt Lake City, Utah hospital. He was born on Aug 30, 1919, at Robin, Idaho to Lewis and Clara (Glover) Allen. He attended school in Hawkins Basin, Idaho, and later graduated from high school.
He married Velma Eddington, and they were later divorced. He married Betsy Egbert in 1982 at Blackfoot, Idaho. He was a farmer, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy, of Blackfoot; one son, Jerry Brent Allen of Claremont, California; one daughter, Colleen Allen of Pocatello; one brother Darrell Allen of Inkom; and three sisters, Louise Egan of Arimo, Arlene Lusk of Fort Hall, and Claudine Wharton of Pocatello.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bernice Rowe.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 18, 1992, at 2 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral Chapel, 431 North 15th Ave., where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens."
