Wayne E.Sisson, age 63, of Marion, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He was born November 3, 1944, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Virgil H. and Edith P. (Evans) Sisson. Wayne served in the U.S. Marines from May 31, 1962, until January 1, 1966, during the Vietnam era and then active reserves until May 30, 1968. He was employed at Quaker Oats for over 15 years and then traveled and worked various jobs until his health failed.

Wayne served proudly in the Marines in field artillery as a technician, he achieved a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Marksman Badge. He has always been interested in Veteran's Affairs and enjoyed fishing as a pasttime.
