She was born Feb. 17, 1920, daughter of Carl William and Laura Lena Webb Mantel. She and Louis O. Gilmer were married Dec. 23, 1936. He died Oct. 23, 1993.
Gilmer was a retired florist and had owned and operated Gilmer's Flowers and Gifts in Chaffee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
Survivors include a son, Ron (Christine) Gilmer of Perryville, Mo.; two daughters, Judy (Warren) Millham of St. Charles, Mo., Linda (Thomas) Little of Jackson; a brother, Mike Mantel of Chaffee; two sisters, Barbara Arnold and Bonnie Rister of Chaffee; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Davis; a brother, C.E. Mantel; and a son-in-law, Ray Davis.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
