Lucy Yeatman Allen, 84, of Warsaw, died Thursday, October 13, 2005. She was the widow of Peter Alexander Allen, Jr., and a member of Grant United Methodist Church. She was survived by her son, William E. Cooke and wife, Leah of Callao; two daughters, Rose Withers and her husband, Warren of Warsaw and Betty Lou Conklin and her husband, Charles of Mt. Holly; son -in-law Charles Squires; two sisters, Belle Jenkins of Dahlgren and Susie Brown of Tappahannock.There were 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
She was predeceased in death by her children, Charles C. Cooke, Lucy Schneider and Lorraine Squires. Funeral services were Oct. 16, at Grant United Methodist Church with interment in the cemetery. Rev. James Salmon, Rev. Jim Rowland, and Pastor Charlotte Marks officiated.
