Catherine was born to the late Elmer N. Reichard and Pheobe Black Reichard in Railroad. She was one of twelve children.

She married Charles Hill and they lived in Railroad. They had no children of their own but she was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was survived by her brother and sister: Nancy Henry and Glen Reichard of York

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Preston Reichard of Idaho; Cornell Reichard of York; Palmer Reichard of New Freedom; Theodore Reichard of Glen Rock; Lillian Beltz of Bethesda, Maryland; Richard Reichard of Silver Springs, Maryland; Marguerite, Oscar and Walter Reichard of Railroad.
