Visitation was Wednesday, January 21, 2009, from 5-7 pm at National Funeral Home in Grenada, MS. Funeral services are 11 am today at Memorial Gardens in Grenada, MS with burial in the Grenada Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Howell graduated from Oakland High School in Oakland, Mississippi. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and served overseas during the Korean War. Mr. Howell was a lead sales representative for Bryan Brothers after working there for over 34 years and was the Sales Representative of the Year three times. Mr. Howell was a Baptist.
Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy H. Howell of Brandon; one son, Timothy Howell of Brandon; one sister, Betty Tribble of Scobey; four nieces; and three nephews.
