Georgetown - Louis H. Fenters Sr., 57, died Thursday, Oct. 8, in a Charleston hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Dillon, a son of the late Fred H. and Chloe Douglas Fenters.
Mr. Fenters was a construction worker, a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church, and a Mason. He was a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School and attended Clemson University.
Surviving are his former wife, Vallean Fenters Hare, Nashville, Tenn.; three sons: Larry W. Fenters, Georgetown, and Louis H. Fenters Jr. and Lee Fenters, both of Nashville; a daughter, Ms. Rachael D. Savage, Nashville; three sisters: Mrs. A. J. Harrison, Hamilton, Ga., and Mrs. W. S. Heath Jr. and Mrs. Carolina Able, both of Columbia; three children.
Services were held Sunday in Rose Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
