Ardien Henry Bondy, 90, of Brunswick, died Friday, February 9, 2001, at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1910 at Brunswick, the son of Henry E. and Anna Scheerer Bondy.
Mr. Bondy served in the South Pacific Theater during WWII as a member of the U. S. Army. He was married to Rosie Etta Unternaehrer on September 8, 1943 at Saint Luis Obispo, California. He had been a farmer, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Brunswick.
He is survived by his wife, of the home, two daughters, Denise Bitter, Topeka, Kansas; and Mary E. Laaker, Omaha, Nebraska; one sister, Dorothy Bondy, Brunswick; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Wilford and Herman Bondy, and one sister; Elizabeth Moore.
Funeral Services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Monday, February 12, 2001.
Burial: Elliott Grove Cemetery.
