"Edna M. Gatewood, 85, died Wednesday in a Shelton hospital. She was born March 1, 1891, in Morristown, Minn., and had been a resident of the Shelton and Union area since 1930. She recently resided in Seattle and worked for Washington Evergreen for 17 years. Survivors include a son, Raymond, of Union; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Barnard of Seattle; two brothers, Guy Morris of Union, and Vernon Morris of Shelton; two sisters, Elsie Wray of Yakima, and Hazel Johnson of Union; 11 grand-children, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. A graveside service will be held Monday, starting at 11 a.m., in the Garden Chapel of Shelton Memorial Park. Pastor Roland Huber will officiate." The Olympian (Olympia, Washington), August 27, 1976
