Eleanor Willey passed away early on a Friday at the Fulton County Health Center surrounded by her loving family. Whe was a lifelong Homemaker and had worked in retail for many years including the former Wauseon A & P Store and the former Wal-deck's Department Store in Wauseon. She had also worked for Fan Coach in LaGrange, Indiana.

She was the daughter of H Lee and Stella (Segrist) Granger. On February 10, 1951 she married Joseph R. Willey and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon where she had served as an Elder.

In 1947 she was crowned the first Wauseon High School Football Queen.

Eleanor is survived by two daughters; Cassandra (John) Zak of Holland, OH, Cynthia (John) Grant of Wauseon, a son; Neal (Renae) Willey of LaGrange, IN, seven grandsons; Michael John Zak, Anthony Joseph Zak, Justin Joseph Grant, Jordan John Grant, Patrick James Grant, Bradley Derek Willey and Nathan Christopher Willey and brother, Richard (Jean) Granger of Atlantic, Iowa;. Preceding her in death besides her husband was half-brother, Allen Boths and half-sister; Gladys Bourquin.

Funeral services were held on Monday morning at the First Christian Church in Wauseon with Pastor Mitch Maxted and Pastor Mary Jo Bray officiating.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the First Christian Church.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
