Daniel Gilbert Ellington, age 79 of the East Hamilton Community in Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at Trinity Rehab in San Augustine, Texas.
Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Woolf officiating, burial will follow at East Hamilton Cemetery in Shelbyville, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 1:00 pm until 5:00 p.m at Mangum Funeral Home.
He was born January 21, 1930 in Shelby County to Parents, Earl & Willie Mae (Scott) Ellington. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the US Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Willie Mae Ellington, 1 Brother, J.E. Ellington, and Sister Edna Mae Ellington.
