Eric Balinski, 31, of Crosby, was born July 11, 1977 in Baytown and passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 in Houston.
He was a lifelong resident of Crosby, graduated from Crosby High School in 1995 and worked for his family's business, Shimek's Dirt yard, in Crosby.
Eric was a family man, spending all of his spare time to become as close as possible to everyone that was related to him.
He is survived by his wife, April Balinski; son, Cameron Balinski; daughter, Jewel Balinski; parents, Gary and Kerry Michalsky and Stanley Balinski; brother, Cody Michalsky and his wife Heather; sisters, Kacy Browning and her husband Skyler, Melissa Balinski and Paige Balinski; grandparents, Billy and Lucille Shimek, Helena Balinski and Annie Michalsky all of Crosby; in-laws, Sue and David Cameron of League City and Jimmy Johnson of San Marcus, brother-in-law, Andrew Johnson of Taylor and nieces and nephews, Matthew, Landon, Weston and Brooke all of Crosby.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2009 at the Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Provazek officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2009 at the funeral home.
