Honey Grove - Mrs. J. R. Rogers, 81, died at home Monday at 10 am., having been in failing health.
Funeral arrangements awaited the arrival of relatives from California. Robert West Funeral Home has charge of arrangements, burial to be made in Oakwood Cemetery here.
Mrs. Rogers, the former Miss Elizabeth Chandler, was born in Van Buren, Ark., Feb. 8, 1871. She was married to Jim R. Rogers April 7, 1891, his death occurring in 1916. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister and a brother, Mrs. Albert Dobbs and Willie Chandler, both of Honey Grove; two nephews, Louis Dalton and Boyd Dalton, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Mrs. Effie May Aubrey, Oklahoma City, Okla., a niece.
