William Zachery Taylor was born June 28, 1827 in Brownsville PA, and died Feb 12 1907 at age 80 of pneumonia.

He was a ship's Captain on the Monongahela River. After serving as a Captain on a steamboat, he left the river and was employed as an engineer at mills in McKeesport.

Taylor married Rebecca Jane Lochard. He lived in McKeesport and also Dravosburg.
