Charles David Pope, 42, husband of Debbie Evans Pope of 108 Murdoch Lane, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at his home.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Peggy Ann Pope Hollingsworth and Tom Hollingsworth of Piedmont.

Surviving are his wife of the home; stepsons, Michael Zietz and Christopher Zietz, of Travelers Rest; sisters, Tania Pope, of Cumming, Ga., Sabrina Waldrop, of Dallas, N.C.; brother, Chad Gangwer, of Greenville; grandmother, Ines Hollingsworth, of Piedmont; stepfather, Tom Hollingsworth, of Piedmont; stepsisters, Geanie Hollingsworth, of Sacramento, Calif., Kelley Teal, of Simpsonville, Marsha Mull, of Simpsonville; stepbrothers, Rocky Hollingsworth, of Piedmont, Joel Hollingsworth, of Spokane, Wash.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Gray Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. David Lark officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of his mother and stepfather, 1603 Highway 86, Piedmont, and will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Save the Children.
