He was a retired gauge lapper for the Birken Mfg. Co., Bloomfield, Conn. Survivors include his wife Evelyn; two sons, Gary, Rockville, Conn., and Bruce, Holiday; two daughters, Mrs. Gail Montano, Pleasant Valley, Conn., and Miss Lynn Abbe, Ft. Gordon, Ga.; two brothers, Albert and Edwin; a sister, Marion Neelans, Enfield, and four grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday at North Funeral Home, Holiday, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Jack Martin of the Westside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.
