Grattan Henry Wheeler, Jr., married Nancy Denton Sayre on 30 Mar 1837. Grattan was the son of Col. Grattan Henry Wheeler and his first wife, Fannie Baker.

Grattan H Wheeler died 4/10/1901. He was born 3/12/1813 in Wheeler. He was the son of Grattan H Wheeler; and the grandson of, Silas Wheeler. He married Nancy D Sayre on 3/30/1837. She died 5/27/1889. They had ten children. He leaves, Monroe, Charles G, Mrs Fannie Rose, Mrs Emma Soper, Mrs Nellie Horton, Mrs Mary Mendel, Mrs Sarah Cranston, and Mrs Eliza Gardner. His son Graham H died 1/16/1890; and his daughter Mrs Nancy Norton died 2/26/1880.Burial in Elmwood cemetery.
