WALLA WALLA, Wash--Richard A. Craft, 62 of 2288 Granite Drive, Walla Walla, Wash., formerly of Grand Island died July 11.

Services were July 15 in Mountain View Funeral Chapel at Walla Walla. The Rev. Robert McCoy officiated. The body was cremated. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Mr. Craft was born April 5, 1926, in Creston, Iowa, the son of William and Molly William Craft. He graduated from Bremerton, Wash., High School. He served in the U. S. Army and married Gloria Heimbuch on March 24, 1951, in Grand Island. He graduated from Seattle University with a degree in microbiology. He worked for various grocery stores in Great Falls, Mont., Spokane, Wash., Pueblo, Colo., and Anchorage, Alaska until his recent retirement.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter. Sandra Bloor of Waitsburg, Wash.; two sons, Rick of Clarkston, Wash., and Jim of Denver; one brother, Bill; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
