Clevie attended elementary school in Ashdown until he began junior high school. He moved to Idabel with his mother, where he continued his education.
Clevie was a faithful employee of Weyerhaeuser in Wright City for more than 27 years.
On Jan. 20, 1978, Clevie was united in marriage to Anita Nor-wood, and to this union three chil-dren were born. He and Anita are of the Baptist faith.
Clevie loved fishing and watch-ing "his Boys"- the Dallas Cow-boys during football season. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alexander Neal; mother, Nellie Young; sister, An-niebell Thomas; and brothers, Alexander Neal and Carl Young.
He leaves to cherish his mem-ory his loving and dedicated wife, Anita of the home; children, Clevie, Jr. of Dallas, Cornelius of Durant, Amanda of the home, and Carmen (Alex) of Durant; broth-ers, Floyd Young and wife Susan of Chicago, the Rev. Fugusta Neal and wife Minnie of Ash-down; sister Easter Goodwin and husband Jerry, along with a host of family and friends.
Services are set for Saturday Jan. 17, at 3 p.m. at the By Pass Church of Christ, with Pastor Larry Alberty officiating. Inter-ment will follow at Williamston Cemetery. A visitation is sched-uled for Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Nunley's Funeral Home.
