Twyla M. Yenerich, 87, of Silvis, formerly of Ashton, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, in Illini Hospital in Silvis, surrounded by family. Born Sept. 3, 1920, daughter of George and Hazel Murphy Yeoman. Married Wallace Yenerich on Oct. 7, 1944, in Marion, Ohio. Twyla was very involved in her church and sang in the choir, she also enjoyed sewing. Survivors include husband, Wallace; daughters Phyllis Pepiot of Naperville, Marlene (Ed) Farver of Green Valley, Ariz., Camilla (Bill) Hicks of Port Byron and Ruth (Ruddy) of Spooner, Wis.; son Paul (DeDe) Yenerich of Martinton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers and son-in-law, Harry Pepiot. Service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, in Ashton United Methodist Church in Ashton. Burial in Ashton Cemetery.
