Charles R. "Rip" Anderson, Sr, 63, Commerce City, Colo., died Thursday, June 14, 1990 at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, CO.
He was born in Concordia May 13, 1927, to Floyd L. and Mary Anderson.
Survivors include his wife Bea of the home; a son, Charles R. Anderson Jr, Commerce City; a daughter, Sharon Anderson, Federal Heights, Colo; a stepdaughter, Shirley Bollinger, Broomfield, Colo; a stepson, David Elliot, Evergreen, Colo; five brothers, Floyd of Great Bend, James of Russell, Roy and Elton of Concordia and Bob of Ft Worth, TX; three sisters, Dorothy Betzner of Concordia, Frances Hall of Wichita and Virginia Moss of Glasco; and five grandchildren.
Funeral service was held June 18 at the Horan and McConaty Family Chapel in Denver. Burial with military honors by the US Air Force was at Ft Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
