19 Aug 1955 - Last rites for Adron D. Derr, 66, who died at
his home near Many, Wednesday, Aug. 10 was conducted at Warren
Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 12 with Rev. Sam
Strickland officiating, assisted by Rev. John Kolemay, Rev. J. S.
Leggett and Rev. Lonnie Johnson.
Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.
Survivors are Mrs. Adron Derr of Many, sons, Ottis and
Clyde, both of Many, daughters, Mrs. R. J. Hoagland of Many; Mrs.
John Hubble of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Mrs. Walter Kendrick of Nome,
Texas; Mrs. Carroll Hughes of Beloyt, Wis.
Brother, Odis Derr of Many, sisters, Mrs. Nora
Swearingen of Oakdale; Mrs. L. K. Knippers of Nacogdoches, Mrs.
Doney Berry of Starks, Mrs. Floyd Lewing of Many and 13
grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J. M. Belisle, T. M. Phillips, Jenn
Hoagland, Carroll Hughes, Ralph Russell, and Yulee Koss.
