After the Army:
After I was discharged, I went back to work in Taylorsville, NC as a rotating machine operator. While I was there I was promoted to a desk job then transferred to a sister plant in Texas. I was transferred back to Conover, NC in the Customer Service Department. After 11 years in this position, I was promoted to the Plant Superintendent. I retired in 1990, after 12 years as Superintendent due to Parkinson's Disease.

I'm married with two sons and one grandchild.
