Charles C. Bowen, Aged 33 years; is the father of Harley Henry Bowen and grandfather of Leslie, Richard Calloway, and Allie Dean Bowen.

DEATH OF CHAS. BOWEN
Occurred Yesterday Morning--Four Months from the Day That His Daughter Died from Snake Bite.
Charles C. Bowen, who has been quite ill for some time at his home 114 Reservoir St., died yesterday morning at 1 o'clock, aged 33 years. To mourn his death he leaves a wife and one small child who have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.

The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the chapel on Palmyra avenue, thence to Rush cemetery. Rev. Clayton S. Brooks will conduct the services.

Deceased was a member of the Modern Woodsmen camp of this city. also of the Mt. Zion Christian church. Four months ago a little daughter of the deceased died as a result of being bitten by a snake while playing on the farm of S. D. Bowen in Miller Township, where the parents resided at that time.

Charles parents are Theodore Polk Bowen and Emily F.Bowling-Bowen Emily Born 4-14-1865 in Ralls Co. to John Bowling and Sarah Hines-Bowling Emily died 3-14-1871.
