JOHN L. PODRESKY
John L. Podresky, 68, 502 Greenwich, died Monday in Porter Memorial hospital.
Born Dec. 13, 1899, in Youngstown, O., he was the son of John A. and Veronica Podresky. On Dec. 23, 1922 in Valparaiso, he married Edith A. Small, who survives.
A resident of Valparaiso since 1922, he graduated from Valparaiso university law school in 1924. He was an East Chicago attorney for 35 years and a member of the Lake county and Indiana Bar associations.
Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Bonnie) Rader, and one granddaughter, Rebecca Ann, both of Whiting; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Katcher and Mrs. Rose Krispinsky, both of Youngstown.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bartholomew Funeral home, with the Rev. John Cole officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
