Delavina "Tootsie" McGaha, age 88, of Batesville, Arkansas died Monday, January 26, 2009 in a Batesville hospital. Born on May 2, 1920 in Batesville, she was the daughter of Claude Wilson and Elmyra Bibb Wilson.

She was retired from the International Shoe Company, a member of the Pfeiffer E.H. Club, a volunteer at the White River Medical Center, a member of the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Survivors include two sons, Frank McGaha of Batesville and William McGaha of Locust Grove; two daughters, Shirley Turner and Patsy Mount both of Batesville; two brothers, Enoch Wilson and Harold Wilson both of Batesville; one sister, Elwanda Nash of Locust Grove; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred McGaha; two brothers, John Wilson and Sidney Wilson and two sisters, Jo McDannald and Mildred Johnson.

Services are Friday, January 30, 10:00 a.m., at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Chuck Roach, Dennis Wilson and Philip Wysocki officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Mike McGaha, Keith McGaha, Bob Mount, Bill McGaha, Noah McGaha and Nathan Turner.

Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters, Becky Roach, Mandy McKinnon and Christy Wood.

Visitation is Thursday evening from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Libby Rhodes Missionary Baptist Church, Mission's Land Fund, P.O. Box 71, Tumbling Shoals, AR 72581
